Billing
Per-minute billing on prepaid organization credit. The maximum is held at booking, only the minutes used are charged, the rest returns.
Datacenter sessions are paid from your organization’s prepaid credit. Billed by the minute, capped before you start.
Credit
- Credit belongs to the organization, not to a user.
- It comes with your invitation. For more, write to support@nodelodge.com.
- Account → Credit shows the available balance, the amount held by booked sessions, and every entry: grants, corrections, session charges.
At booking: the maximum is held
Booking holds the cost of the full duration:
held = hourly rate × booked hours
The booking form shows this estimate next to your available credit. If the credit does not cover it, the booking is refused. Two simultaneous bookings never spend the same credit.
While running: per minute
- The meter starts when the machine is handed over, not at booking. Provisioning time is free.
- Each started minute is charged once, at the rate shown at booking.
- The reservation page shows elapsed time, remaining time and the running charge.
At the end: the rest returns
When the session ends, the minutes used are deducted from your balance and the hold is released. You end early, you pay less.
| Example | |
|---|---|
| Held | 4 h booked |
| Charged | 2 h 36 min used |
| Returned | 1 h 24 min |
No charge
- A session that fails to start.
- A session cancelled before the machine is handed over.
- A booking whose window expires unstarted.
Interrupted sessions
When the provider reclaims an interruptible machine, billing stops at the interruption. You pay for the minutes used.
Rates
The rate is set per offer and shown in the catalog, per hour. It is fixed for the session at booking.
